We thought we’d drop you some feedback having spent the last two weeks working with QDL to progress snagging; this might help you a) feedback to QDL and also b) have to hand to share with other residents should you need it. All the residents share information anyway but just to be transparent the below is what we’ve fed on when asked.

Headline view is that we have been really impressed in two main areas; 1) management and coordination of the work; and 2) quality of the work done, both structural stuff (Christian) and also decorating (really sorry can’t remember the decorator’s name).

Positives have been:

– very professional approach taken by every single person that QDL have mobilised

– excellent work supervision by Dean – we have been consulted throughout on some decision points and asked for input on things but the team have been really well organised and have left Sarah and I finally feeling like we are not having to manage this activity – which is key here;

– quality of work – this seems to be of the highest standard – Christian seems very knowledgeable and clear on what needs to be done and then gets on and does it; plus the decorators have been excellent was well; and the teams have coordinated between them really well when they’ve needed to

– Pace of work and clarity of plans – the team have made it clear to us each day what they’ve completed, what they plan on doing the next day etc. – very clear.

Negatives: absolutely none.

The team have been a pleasure to have around the house and it has been excellent to finally see the progress being made on the snagging list. We know they have moved on to another house now hence why we want to baseline our list with you to see what’s remaining but QDL have been excellent and have finally made Sarah and I see aspects of completion of the house to the standards we had hoped for

Bron Afon assigned contractors QDL to re-plaster my front bedroom following a damp problem. As soon as QDL received the job, Tony Reed contacted me on the telephone to ask if he could come to my home to see what needed to be done. He came the very next day with his colleague to arrange with him to come out and start and started the work promptly. All in all, the work was carried out to a very high standard and the men who arrived at my home were very punctual, professional, very friendly, polite and extremely informative when keeping me up to date with the work. All mess was cleaned up on a daily basis and the work is now complete. Tony Reed then came out to inspect the work carried out to make sure it was finished to the high standard he clearly expected from the outset. With Bron Afon having to use contractors such as QDL to carry out work on their behalf due to the vast amount of repairs you must have, I feel QDL are an impeccable company, who have carried out an outstanding job where nothing seemed to be of any trouble for them. As a tenant, I feel QDL should be recognised for the work they have done in my home, and more so, delivering a clear message that Bron Afon take repairs and getting work done seriously by passing work onto professional companies such as QDL rather than rogue traders.

Hi all I’ve enclosed photos of the process of having my Electric Meter Tails changed from 16mm to 25mm tails for all you to see this easy clean process without destroying the house. It is a simple process with no mess at all. Kalyd from MDT Electrical has done a brilliant job with no mess or need to tidy up. Well experienced Electricians who know what they are doing with no drama at all. Highly recommend this company. Paul From QDL Contractor Ltd did an excellent job replastering and repairing the house. No mess at all. This is a pain free process of having the Electrical Tails changed.For all those that have concerns about having this process done, I would highly recommend both of these Firms and their employees. They are clean and know exactly what they are doing. A big thank you to the firms involved, who have put a good ending to this ordeal. I have enclosed on the groups photos of the good work. I just wanted to write and thank you so much for doing my garden. You and your team outdid yourselves, the garden is more than we could of imagined. Your team are always prompt and on time and so friendly, they were even having jokes with my young children as they were watching them through the window. The guys worked so hard to deliver a finished product in the time scale you gave me. Every night before they left they made sure my garden was fully cleaned with nothing lying around that could of been a safety hazard. I would recommend you and your company to any one who needed work done as your definitely 10/10. Thank you again.
